The Velbon QB-5RL Quick Release Plate fits the D-500, S-900 (VMATE-III with PH-358), Videomate II, VMATE-507, CX-586, Vel-Flo 7 (PH-358), and V9900 tripods, and features a rubberized surface with a 1/4"-20 camera screw and retractable video pin.
A quick release plate can be kept attached to the camera's base and allows the user to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from the tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.
